Thank you to all who had given me your responses to my last post. They were really different and the same to mine! So now that you have your five favorite shops fresh in your head, it would be weird to not tell you to take a visit to those stores and buy you something or someone special in your life, something nice! Top 5 Shops

Hello Angels. The holidays are coming up and I will be making sure that I visit all of my favorite stores for gifts for my family and friends (and maybe a few things for myself..). Personally it does not take much to please me with a gift. I can appreciate a present for the thought that was put into it and the fact that it was bought or made specifically. HOWEVER! If someone were to get me an item or gift card from any of these places, you would be one of my favorite people for a good while. Here is my top 5 clothing shops to shop at.

#5 - H&M

The clothing in this shop gives me many different aspects and allows me to find items for all different sides of my style, but mainly the side that wants to look clean and formal. The particular things that I find myself buying from here on a normal basis are the accessories. Ties, scarfs, hats and such items seem to always find their way into my shopping bag before I leave this place. 

#4 - PacSun 

This store is a growing favorite. I just walked into one day for a sale they had on hoodies and I fell in love. Their shirts and tops are my favorite items to look at from here and their snap-back and fitted hats are not too bad either. I plan on buying one soon within my next visit. 

#3 - Forever 21/Men 21

I was surprised to discover that Forever 21 had a men's section but that didn't stop them from taking my money. Because of the scarcity of physical stores of the 21 Men branch, I have to buy everything that I want online. And again I say, it has not stopped me from spending my money here. There are many different types of article of clothing to choose from and they do not stick to one type of style. Men 21 allows me to be sophisticated and street grunge all at the same time. 

#2 - Macy's 

 

There is nothing that can really go wrong when you go into a department store. There are many to choose from but I always find myself within this one. The reason? Levi Jeans. I cant really wear anyone else's jeans (I tried) and they have become my brand favorite. Of course this is not cheap. Luckily, I catch the discounts and sales whenever I am in the mall and I walk buy the section. 

#1 - Hot Topic 

 

Now when I thought of Hot Topic, my first thought was black, then Goth, then "I don't think this store is for me". But then the best thing happened to me. I found a shirt with one of my favorite video game characters on it and bought it on the spot. Then I discovered the many other options of graphic tees that they had. This truly made me learn the lesson "Never judge a book by its cover". Today I have 4 X-Men shirts, a "Trust Me. I'm a Geek" tee, and a Thundercats shirt thanks to this store. Hot Topic provides me an outlet to show the geek side to my style and I greatly appreciate this store for that.

2012 Fall Trends

Hello Angels! Personally I have to say that I am happy that fall is here! I don't mind the heat and the summer break from school that goes along with it, but there is nothing like fall fashions and looks. So here are some trends from some very reliable sources that I plan on incorporating into my own style this Autumn plus one that I am always excited about.

The Sweater

The one thing that I used to hate wearing when I was younger was a sweater. They were ugly, uncomfortable , and never quite fit properly. But now that I am an adult and since I have discovered that there are sweaters made of materials other than itchy wool, I can enjoy wearing a good sweater. Elle.com has this as one recommendation for the Fall. 

The Coat

The coat is an article of clothing that keeps the autumn chill away. No one said that you couldn't look good while doing it. The many different patterns and materials that can create these pieces can give a person many alternatives. My opinion? You can never go wrong  with the original grey pea coat or black. This trend was provided by GQ.com.

The Boots 

High knee-highs or short and rustic, boots are my favorite part about this season. My all time favorite provider is Aldoshoes.com. Everyone has this on their list at least once and I plan on making sure to stay on top of this trend. The buckles, strings, facets, and zippers give each pair its own personality and all that is needed is to find out what makes you say "I need these!" There are many other trends that are said o be needed this Fall but these are the ones that I am most excited about and I hope you will be too. Make this Fall your season of fashion. NY Fashion Week

Hello Angels. The next few weeks are a fashion junkie's favorite time of the year. FASHION WEEK! And whether the shows are held in Milan, London or Paris, you know that you will see nothing but the best and most imaginative pieces of clothing since last year. My favorite state however and hope to call my home soon is New York and their week had runway shows from famous designers such as Vera Wang, Betsy Johnson and Tommy Hilfiger.
